From delivering blockbuster films to telling innovative stories Surinder Films has established themselves as a fully integrated film production house that has produced some of the most prominent works in Bengal. Led by Nispal Singh the company was founded by Surinder Singh in 1970 which started as a film distribution company. Surinder Films ventured into film production with their first film Rakhi Purnima by much celebrated director Anjan Chaudhury. Over the last few decades Surinder’s catalogue films have made a mark in the Bengali Entertainment business who has produced over 100 films which includes a series of blockbusters and critically acclaimed films like Paglu, Paglu 2, Mon Mane Na, Arundhuti, Rangbaaz, Jyesthoputro, Drishtikone, Ardhangini, Chhaya O Chhobi, Khaad, Borunbabur Bondhu, Kaberi Antardhan.

Over the years it has established itself as a fully integrated film production house that has produced some of the most prominent works in Bengal. The company has also produced over 40 television shows for several channels Star Jalsa, Star Plus, Colours Bangla, Zee Bangla and over 40 web series and short films for Addatimes and Zee5.

In March 2023, Surinder Films acquired the first Bengali OTT Platform Addatimes. The platform has an array of original web series of different genres like rom coms, detective movies, thrillers and suspense dramas and comedy series.

Surinder Films has ventured into Hindi film production with Manohar Pandey directed by national award winning director Kaushik Ganguly starring Raghubir Yadav, Supriya Pathak Kapur and Saurabh Shukla which is under production. The company also produced its first Hindi television show Faltu along with Boyhood Productions which premiered on 2 November 2022 on StarPlus and digitally streams on Disney+ Hotstar. It ended on 20 August 2023.

The company launched its own VFX studio called SVFX in 2014. Embarking on the 9th year as a VFX studio the company has worked on films like Pink, Rajkahini, Yoddha, Yeti Obhijaan, Byomkesh Pawrbo, Chaamp and many more.
